Debbie
Miller is the owner of the former Image Maker Salon. After 25 years of
ownership, Debbie knew that there would be a great opportunity with more
professionals under one roof. That's when the idea of merging with
another salon was beginning to grow and though the last year of
consulting with a business consultant and coach, the vision has come to
life. She and Elise merged their businesses October 1,2006, and became
one as Serendipity Salon & Spa. Debbie has over 30 years of experience
in this business, coming from a background in the salon industry with
her mother. Her talents lie in all phases of hair services, and has
developed the skills to operate a successful business.
Debbie also is very active in the community and has worked for many fund
raisers as well as donating services and products. Her passion is in
growing service providers for the new salon and helping all those who
work for them to plan their careers and pass on this passion to others.
Her many loyal clients speak for Debbie's skills and customer service
that she offers. |

After graduating from cosmetology
school in 1988, Elise Boren began working on the Mississippi Gulf Coast
and did so for 13 years. During that time she worked her way up in Gayfers Salon, and within one year had become the in house trainer
for the Salon. This position consisted of being sent to classes on
new trends and techniques and then coming back and instructing the
Gayfers staff. Along with that position she was also
responsible for organizing and facilitating all platform work that
the Gayfers design team members preformed, because Elise feels that
knowledge and education are vital. After moving to Franklin, NC
almost nine years ago and while working in the salon, she applied
for and became an advisor, traveling nationally for ISO. Teaching
other hair stylists nationally for the company.
Recently, after being asked by ISO to submit a video and performing for them in Los Angeles for one week. Elise has been promoted to Jr. Guest Artist with ISO. Elise feels that it is important to stay up on the latest trends and techniques making her a better hair dresser and being able to, in turn offer the latest styles to her clients. Also, it is a necessity to have the most innovative tools, techniques and technology to accomplish any task and working with and traveling nationally for ISO enables her to do this.
